Victoria's Secret confirms Paris fashion show

US lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret is taking its annual fashion show and famous angels to Paris for the first time.

Rumours of the move circulated last month and this week organisers confirmed in a video announcement that the lingerie catwalk show featuring angels, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosia and Lily Aldridge will take place in the City of Light.

Other Angels expected to attend include Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill, as well as new faces.

The showcase will also feature a number of musical performances which are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Previous stars to perform have included Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

The show's traditional home is 69th Regiment Armory in New York, however, the event has also been hosted in numerous cities around the world over the years, including Miami, Los Angeles, London in 2014 and Cannes in France back in 2000.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on December 5, 2016, on CBS at 10pm EST and will be seen in more than 190 countries.
