Trendstop gives FashionUnited readers a first look at three of the key womenswear colour and print trends fresh from the Spring Summer 2017 European trade shows.

Trendstop’s womenswear team reveal the latest themes emerging at the London trade events, bringing you the essential looks that will be impacting the market into SS17 and beyond.

This week, FashionUnited Readers get an exclusive preview of three of the key colour and print trends seen at Pure and Scoop. Magma Coral illustrates how statement brights are adding vibrancy to a variety of womenswear categories while Tahiti Chic offers a bold new look for SS17 with graphic tropical prints in punchy colour combos. Meanwhile True Nude lends a touch of feminine delicacy to the high summer palette with soft skin toned shades and tactile fabrications.

Magma Coral

Coral shades are heated up for summer with fiery magma inspired undertones. Intense orange hues lend new vibrancy to casual and formal applications such as athletic bombers and tailored trousers. For accessories, supple textual leathers enhance colour saturated finishes.

True Nude

Skin tone shades give a subtly sophistication to shift dresses, shirts and bodies. Silk, satin and suede finishes enhance fleshy pinks and nude tones with a tactile touch for an ultra feminine appeal. Self-colour trims and pared back detailing offers a softer take on minimalist looks.

Tahiti Chic

Tropical prints are update for SS17 with naïve exotics in vibrant summer shades. Simplified florals and palm leaf patterns in punchy colour combinations bring a playful boldness to silky t-shirt dresses and printed slip-ons while appliquéd and layered leathers give tote bags a 3D appeal.
