In 1924 Harold Humphreys and his brother Wallace launched Umbro in a small workshop in Cheshire, inspired by the growing interest in football witnessed nationwide. Umbro manufactures all types of sportswear apparel including training gear and football boots. Products are sold in more than 90 countries worldwide. In 2012 Iconix Brand Group acquired Umbro.
