Ana Mihaljevic has been promoted to chief commercial officer of Canada Goose, after spending four years with the company. In this new role, Mihaljevic will oversee the brand's global commercial business, focusing on furthering growth in both wholesale and D2C channels and continuing international expansion.

Canada Goose has been steadily expanding in global markets; last month it announced plans for three new international store along with three in its home country of Canada.

Mihaljevic first joined the brand as VP Planning & Sales Operations in 2015, according to her LinkedIn profile. She was in that role for two years, then became SVP of Sales and Operation Planning.

She takes over the chief commercial officer role from Rick Wood, who will move into the role of Executive Advisor for key strategic projects.

"We have come a long way in a short time, but I think our journey has just begun. The opportunities for this company are endless and I'm thrilled to be leading the team that is chasing them down and executing with excellence," Mihaljevic said in a statement.
