Centric Brands appoints Niclas Eriksson to lead kids division across EMEA region

US lifestyle and apparel company Centric Brands has appointed Niclas Eriksson as vice president and general manager of its kids division across Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective September 2026. Eriksson announced his new role on LinkedIn.

In his new role, Eriksson assumes responsibility for leading the next phase of growth for the kidswear division of the company across the EMEA region. He transitions to the New York-headquartered group after holding senior international commercial roles within the children’s fashion sector over the past two decades.

Prior to joining Centric Brands, Eriksson spent seven years at US licensing and distribution firm Haddad Brands Europe as sales director for the EMEA region, based in Brussels, Belgium. His career also includes senior leadership roles at French childrenswear business Kidiliz Group, where he served as managing director for Benelux and Nordics as well as sales director for EMEA.

Strategic expansion in European childrenswear sector

The executive appointment follows a series of portfolio developments aimed at expanding the global footprint of the group across key categories and markets.

In December 2025, Centric Brands completed the acquisition of Netherlands-based children’s fashion label Vingino Group. The deal expanded the European market presence for the business and added premium kids denim and apparel capabilities to its existing brand portfolio.

Centric Brands has also appointed new global leadership within its children's business, naming Rob Smith as president of the kids division in July 2025.

Alongside its childrenswear division, the company maintains owned brands including Avirex, Fiorelli, Hudson, Robert Graham and Taste Beauty. It also manages joint ventures and licensing agreements across apparel, accessories and lifestyle categories, including partnerships with Authentic Brands Group (ABG).
