Gregg Zegras has been appointed as the new chief revenue officer. Based in South Florida, Zegras will be responsible for overseeing the company's unified sales team for its commerce solutions and logistics solutions businesses and will report directly to CEO Omair Tariq.

Zegras brings more than 25 years of experience in commerce, logistics, and enterprise software, having previously served as president of global ecommerce at Pitney Bowes. During his time there, he grew the company’s e-commerce division revenue to 1.5 billion dollars and oversaw a team of over 4,500 employees. His past senior leadership roles include positions at Sharecare, Hearst, NBC Universal, and iVillage.com.

According to CEO Omair Tariq, Zegras's experience in driving growth and his ability to align sales, operations, and technology make him the "perfect fit" to lead Cart.com's revenue strategy. Tariq stated that Zegras's leadership will be crucial in helping the company scale to 1 billion dollars in revenue in the coming years.

Zegras's appointment follows a year of rapid expansion for Cart.com, which recently announced an additional 50 million dollars in funding to accelerate its growth. The company now serves over 6,000 customers and operates a logistics network of 18 omni-channel facilities, spanning more than 10 million square feet across the US.

Zegras expressed his excitement about joining the company, noting that its platform is unique for combining commerce enablement with a nationwide logistics network.
