Spanish leather goods and apparel house Loewe, a part of LVMH Group, has brought Pascale Lepoivre on board as the new Chief Executive of the company. Lepoivre is currently serving as executive vice president of Céline and will step into the position vacated by Lisa Montague.
Montague had been at the helm of Loewe since 2009, but had to step down from her role and return to London due to personal reasons. She is currently exploring available positions within the LVMH group. Meanwhile, Lepoivre is expected to lead the brand’s growth momentum under the creative director Jonathan Anderson.
Lepoivre started her career at Louis Vuitton in the 1990 and moved on to shoulder the position as director of its fashion and leather goods division. As the vice president of Céline, where she joined in 2007, Lepoivre was responsible for overseeing manufacturing process and overall strategy. Meanwhile, LVMH is scouting for a successor to fill the position vacated by Marco Gobbetti at Céline.
