Beauty brand Madison Reed has appointed Nancy Bigley to the newly created role of president of stores. In this position, Bigley will oversee all facets of Madison Reed's Hair Color Bar business, including its 97 current owned-and-operated locations nationwide, new store openings, and the development of the company's future franchise and store growth strategy. She will report directly to Madison Reed CEO and founder, Amy Errett.
Madison Reed's Hair Color Bar business, described as a revolutionary salon experience, has seen extraordinary growth over the past five years, expanding its footprint eightfold since 2020 and building a loyal guest base with 70 percent participation in its membership programs. This appointment is intended to build on that momentum and unlock new opportunities for meaningful expansion.
Commenting on the new appointment, Amy Errett stated, “The biggest challenge facing our Hair Color Bar model is meeting the growth opportunity – Nancy is the leader we need as we take Madison Reed’s Hair Color Bar business to the next level.".
Bigley brings extensive franchise and multi-unit operations experience, having most recently served as multi-brand group president at Unleashed Brands, overseeing six of the company's eight brands.
Bigley expressed enthusiasm for the new role: “I’m energized by the opportunity to unlock the full potential of this revolutionary concept—from elevating every guest interaction to accelerating growth across the business and maximizing our omnichannel presence—all while deepening the strong culture that sets Madison Reed apart.”
Bigley is also a seasoned entrepreneur and was the 2022 recipient of the International Franchise Association's Crystal Compass Award.
