Melinda Paraie to join Cath Kidston as its new CEO

Melinda Paraie is making a move from John Hardy, the New York-based jewellery company to join as the new Chief Executive Officer of Cath Kidston replacing Kenny Wilson, who is joining Dr Martens, reports The Times. Paraie was earlier associated with Cath Kidston for a brief period in 2017.

Before John Hardy, Paraie served at Coach, the luxury American handbag and accessories retailer for 10 years, where she was senior vice-president for merchandising in North America. Previous companies, where she worked include J Crew in New York, Gap in San Francisco, Barneys New York and Express, the report added.

A Fashion Network report added that Paraie will relocate to London and will work with Chairman William Flanz and non-executive director Marty Wikstrom.
