Nordstrom hires Kelly Dilts from Dollar General as new CFO

Nordstrom, Inc. today announced the appointment of Kelly Dilts as its new chief financial officer, with her tenure effective August 29. Dilts transitions to Nordstrom from Dollar General, where she has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2023. In her new role at Nordstrom, Dilts will be responsible for overseeing all core financial functions, in addition to real estate, store development, and strategic sourcing.
In a statement, Erik Nordstrom, co-CEO of Nordstrom, Inc., highlighted Dilts' three decades of financial leadership experience and her demonstrated success in driving strong results at large-scale omni-channel retailers. The company expressed confidence that her expertise would contribute to strengthening the business, executing strategic priorities, and continuing to deliver for customers.
Prior to her role at Dollar General, Dilts held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer for Francesca's Holding Corporation from 2016 to 2019. She also served as senior vice president of finance and investor relations for Tailored Brands, formerly known as The Men's Wearhouse, Inc.
