New York - Paul Griffin, the President of Ted Baker London's North American Retail Division, has left the company after sixteen years. A representative for Ted Baker has said that Griffin "is taking a new role in a different company." Ted Baker has also said that "the three most senior members of the executive leadership team are already in place covering the retail landscape in America," and these three members will be taking over Griffin's responsibilities.
Griffin was President of North American retail for five months before he left to pursue his new role. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of North American Retail for 13 years. He began his career with Ted Baker London as a Regional Manager in the UK in 1999.
“We wish Paul all the best as he seeks a new challenge, but this obviously creates a great opportunity for the senior leadership team, who have worked tirelessly over the years to take the brand to the next level as we continue our growth across all our business channels,” Ray Kelvin, CEO and founder of Ted Baker, said in a statement. Ted Baker currently has 75 stores in North America, up from 63 in 2014, so it seems like Griffin certainly left his mark at the company.
