Shoe Carnival, Inc., a leading family footwear and accessories retailer, has announced the appointment of W. Kerry Jackson as its executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective September 28, 2025. Jackson is returning to the CFO role after a brief retirement and a 35-year history with the company. He previously served as the company's CFO for 27 years before retiring in May 2023.

Mark Worden, president and CEO of Shoe Carnival, expressed his enthusiasm for Jackson's return, stating, "I'm excited to have Kerry rejoin my executive leadership team at this pivotal moment for Shoe Carnival." Worden noted that Jackson's return is timely, as the company recently celebrated the grand opening of its 100th Shoe Station store and plans to expand that banner to over 215 stores by July 2026. The company is confident that Jackson's "deep knowledge" of the business will be invaluable as it executes its strategic plan.

Patrick C. Edwards, who has served as senior vice president and CFO since 2023, will transition to the role of senior vice president, treasurer. Jackson will be responsible for leading the company's investor relations and will participate in the upcoming third-quarter 2025 earnings call.

Shoe Carnival currently operates 428 stores across 35 states and Puerto Rico under its Shoe Carnival, Shoe Station, and Rogan's store fronts.
