US non-profit organisation Textile Exchange has announced the appointment of Jeremy Town as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
As part of the senior leadership team, Town will oversee and maintain the financial health of the organisation, setting a strategic direction for its financial planning to support long-term growth and impact.
Town brings more than 30 years of experience leading finance, operations and legal functions across the software-as-a-service (SaaS), consumer products and non-profit industries. He joins Textile Exchange from sustainability data platform Worldly, where he served as senior vice president of finance.
Previously, Town held senior finance roles at Finnish sports equipment company Amer Sports and the trade body Outdoor Industry Association, bringing expertise across global consumer brands and the outdoor sector.
The executive appointment comes one month after Textile Exchange named Wendy Dittmer as its new chief operations officer (COO). Together, the appointments aim to reinforce the operational and financial functions supporting the organisation's mission to transform material production, selection and reuse.
