British luxury label Burberry has launched a campaign for its autumn 2026 collection, recreating the London commute as people return to the capital after the summer holidays. Titled 'Burberry heads back to the city', the campaign frames the daily journey to and from work as a ritual shared by millions of the city's residents.
Set against the backdrop of central London, the campaign follows characters as they navigate rush-hour crowds and unpredictable weather on their way through the city. The film stars British model Rosemary Ferguson alongside Cherif Douamba and Haojie Qi.
The campaign is narrated by Matthew Streeton, one of the voices behind the travel announcements played across the London transport network. According to Burberry, this grounds the story in the rhythms of everyday life, while a lighthearted and humorous tone turns the daily commute into a character of its own, forming an affectionate portrait of city life and transitional dressing.
The collection
The autumn 2026 collection is designed to move with shifting weather and schedules. Lightweight outerwear reworks Burberry's signature silhouettes, including the Foxfield trench in tropical gabardine, the nylon Leadenham and a cropped Mayfair trench jacket in leather and softly tailored wool twill, with tonal check details and leather accents running throughout.
British tailoring appears in lighter fabrics and relaxed fits, among them the double-breasted Denbury coat and the pinstriped Bloomsbury Harrington jacket. These are joined by House Check-trimmed polo shirts, cashmere knitwear and wool blanket capes, creating layered looks that balance heritage with contemporary ease.
Accessories include pointed Cotswolds pumps, equestrian-inspired Huntley boots and Knight Runner sneakers, alongside the Cotswolds tote, the B Clip messenger bag and the City Check bag collection, combining heritage craftsmanship with everyday utility.
