Teva, a division of Deckers Brands, has launched Trailpeak, a high performance daily trail running shoe and the brand's first footwear developed in full collaboration with athletes from its Teva Bureau of Adventure (TBA). The shoe is now available at Teva.com, with a limited release at select US retailers.
Built with input from ultrarunners
TBA ultrarunners Erin Ton and Mike Wardian played a central role in the shoe's development, testing early prototypes and giving feedback throughout the design process. Together with a wider group of Teva athletes and testers, their input shaped elements including responsiveness, fit, stability and overall feel.
According to Zack Paris, Director of Advanced Concepts & Innovation at Teva, Trailpeak reflects a new approach to innovation at the brand, built on designing alongside athletes who test its products daily. He said the athletes' insights guided the shoe's development from early concepts through real-world testing, resulting in a trail runner suited to shorter, faster outings.
Lightweight cushioning and a secure fit
Trailpeak combines Teva's lightest and most responsive HYPER-COMF+ midsole cushioning with a speedlace fit system for quick adjustments. An internal support cage with 12 anchor points provides lateral support and a snug fit, while Spider Rubber Endure delivers traction underfoot. Teva positions the shoe as a lightweight, agile option designed for confidence across changing trail conditions.
