Authentic Brands Group announces strategic partnership with Reshop

Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), a global brand development and licensing platform, signed a strategic partnership with Reshop.

A relatively new platform launched in 2024, Reshop streamlines refunds for consumers and merchants, the partnership sees Reshop become the instant refund provider for all brands within the Authentic portfolio.

Set to be introduced to all brands held by Authentic, which includes Reebok, Champion, Ted Baker, and Aéropostale, through a phased rollout, the partnership gives consumers immediate access to their refunded money, allowing for quicker repurchases and a more efficient shopping experience.

"Speed, convenience, and optionality are key factors for retailers to ensure success in today's landscape, and we're always looking for new ways to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. We're thrilled to partner with Reshop to continue to improve the overall post-purchase experience for shoppers, offering them greater flexibility through instant refunds," said Adam Kronengold, chief digital officer at Authentic, in a statement.

In line with Authentic's commitment to consistently improve the shopping experience across its portfolio, the partnership will also help strengthen brand loyalty and overall customer satisfaction. The new partnership is set to start with sportswear brands Reebok and Champion and affordable luxury brands Vince Camuto and Juicy, followed by additional brands such as DC Shoes, Roxy, RVCA, and Volcom.

The partnership also sees Reshop continue to expand its network of brands and retailers, and Authentic join current partners such as Alo Yoga, Steve Madden, and Dolce Vita. "The early success of Reshop has really cemented the need for our platform and showcased its impact for retailers," said Anthony Eisen, CEO of Reshop, in a statement.

"We're seeing half of our customers go back to the original merchant for repeat purchases and often incredibly fast, with the majority of repeat purchases happening in less than 24 hours and in some cases as little as one minute."
