Inditex shares climb ahead of second annual dividend payment
Madrid – Spanish fashion multinational Inditex is preparing to pay out just over 2.73 billion euros (3.04 billion dollars) to its shareholders on Monday, November 2. This amount corresponds to the second dividend payment agreed from the 2025 financial year results. The upcoming distribution has “revived” the company's share price, which has gained up to +10.63 percent in recent weeks.
Following previous reports from FashionUnited earlier this year, Inditex management announced the payout on March 11, 2026, coinciding with the presentation of its 2025 full-year results. The board of directors agreed to propose a total dividend of 1.75 euros per share in 2026 to the Annual General Meeting. This represents a +4.17 percent increase compared to the 1.68 euros dividend paid in 2025. The total comprises an ordinary dividend of 1.20 euros and a bonus dividend of 0.55 euros per share, distributed in two equal payments of 0.875 euros per share.
For the first of these two payments, Inditex distributed an initial dividend of 0.875 euros per share on May 4. This amount came entirely from the ordinary dividend allocation, resulting in a payout of just over 2.73 billion euros among holders of the company's 3,116,652,000 voting shares. The same amount will be distributed again after the Annual General Meeting approved the dividend payout from the 2025 results on July 7, 2026. This ratification validated the first payment and cleared the way for the remaining 0.875 euros per share proposed by the board of directors to reward Inditex shareholders in 2026. This second payment consists of the remaining 0.325 euros from the ordinary dividend and the full 0.55 euros bonus dividend for 2026.
With another 2.73 billion euros set to be distributed, all investors holding shares in the Spanish fashion multinational at market close on Wednesday, October 28 will be eligible for this second dividend of the year. The ex-dividend date is Thursday, October 29, followed by October 30 as the “record date”. The dividend will then be paid on Monday, November 2.

This stake is equivalent to 5.05 percent of the share capital and voting rights.
