Innovative Eyewear prepares for Lucyd Aero launch amidst strong Q3 sales

US-based smart eyewear manufacturer Innovative Eyewear has reported preliminary unaudited net sales of approximately 1.04 million dollars for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026. This represents an increase of approximately 55 percent compared to the third quarter of 2025 and marks the highest quarterly net sales in the company’s history.

The revenue expansion comes on top of a 163 percent year-over-year (YoY) increase recorded in the third quarter of 2025. This result marks the 13th consecutive quarter of YoY revenue growth for the group.

Growth during the third quarter was driven by a 25 percent increase in direct-to-consumer (D2C) and online marketplace sales, as well as initial shipments under new wholesale initiatives.

“Our preliminary third quarter results reflect continued progress in executing our growth strategy,” said Innovative Eyewear chief executive officer, Harrison Gross. “We delivered the highest quarterly net sales in our history while intentionally running promotional pricing on older models and conserving advertising and marketing spend. That approach clears the way for the planned fourth quarter launch of Lucyd Aero, our lightest and most advanced smartglasses to date, as we head into what has historically been our strongest quarter of the year."

Wholesale and international expansion drives momentum

In the US, Innovative Eyewear shipped an initial purchase order in September to a big-box retailer for the rollout of its Lucyd Armor product line. The retailer plans to introduce the products across more than 150 stores nationwide, with in-store availability expected to begin in October 2026.

In Canada, the retail launch with FYihealth Group, operator of optical networks FYidoctors, Visique and Solis, commenced during the third quarter. Product placement is underway across approximately 345 locations following initial stock and demonstration unit shipments in July, with restock deliveries having commenced.

In Australia and New Zealand, exclusive distributor Directed Electronics placed initial purchase orders for more than 3,000 smart eyewear units. These orders are expected to ship in October 2026 and are excluded from the third quarter net sales figures.

"At the same time, we opened three new wholesale and international channels during the quarter: a major US big-box retailer, FYihealth Group in Canada, and Directed Electronics in Australia and New Zealand. We anticipate that these new channels will enhance our growth in the fourth quarter of 2026 and into 2027,” added Gross.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, preliminary net sales reached approximately 2.8 million dollars, up approximately 66 percent compared to the nine months ended September 30, 2025. Nine-month revenue has already surpassed the 2.66 million dollars generated by the business for the full year ended December 31, 2025. Historically, the fourth quarter serves as the strongest trading period of the year for the developer.

The figures remain preliminary and unaudited pending completion of quarter-end financial closing procedures. Innovative Eyewear expects to publish its full third quarter 2026 financial results in mid-November 2026.
