Li & Fung secures licensing agreement for C&C California
Hong Kong-based supply chain and logistics giant Li & Fung has announced a new licensing partnership with C&C California, a contemporary lifestyle brand under the Established.Lifestyle division. Facilitated by ACI Licensing, the deal grants Li & Fung category exclusivity for womenswear across swimwear, sleepwear, loungewear, and outerwear.
The agreement includes wholesale distribution rights across all retail tiers, including full-price department stores, off-price retailers, and club channels. The debut collection under this partnership is scheduled for first viewing at the holiday 2026 market.
“Li & Fung’s long-standing expertise across key categories made the company a natural match for further unlocking and expanding the power of the C&C California brand,” said Andy Cohan, co-founder and co-chief executive officer of ACI.
Category expansion and design direction
The partnership aims to leverage Li & Fung’s specialised manufacturing capabilities in technical and soft goods. The new product range will feature a comprehensive swimwear collection of separates, one-piece silhouettes, and beachwear; an expanded assortment of separates, sets, and robes; and a seasonal outerwear range spanning from lightweight windbreakers to technical puffers and parkas.
Reflecting the brand’s heritage, which was founded in 2002 and inspired by 1970s West Coast surf culture, the creative direction will centre on a seasonless “endless summer” aesthetic. The collections will utilise tactile, easy-care fabrics and a sun-washed colour palette to maintain the label’s reputation for approachable, laid-back style.
Mel Limoncelli, senior vice president and head of licensed brands at Li & Fung, added that the expansion remains true to a heritage rooted in comfort and ease of wear while speaking to modern consumer demand for versatile lifestyle pieces.
