Brooklyn-based outerwear brand Hawke & Co has unveiled its relaunched brand image. Founded in 1958 under the name Rosbro, the brand rapidly grew into a global outerwear and sportswear brand for men.
The brand relaunch sees Hawke & Co embracing a new era through the introduction of new innovative designs that assert performance, style, and sustainability. The new brand image and products seek to uphold Hawke & Co's values of durability, functionality, and timeless design while integrating the latest technological advancements in fabric technology, sustainability practices, and design versatility.
Family owned to this day, the grandson and third generation owner and sole proprietor of the Hawke & Co brand, Micheal Rosenberg, has been credited for driving the brand to become a national leader in the outerwear category. "By manufacturing globally, we ensure our customers get the highest quality and most affordable jackets without excessive markups," said Rosenberg in a statement.
As part of Hawke & Co's relaunch, Rosenberg has hired menswear veteran Michael Macko as the brand's new Fashion Director. Previously serving as Mens's Fashion Director at Saks Fifth Avenue and Fashion Director of Conde Nast's Details Magazine, Macko joins Rosenberg and Blair Carp, now the President of Sales and Planning, in overseeing the brand's launch.
In addition, Hawke & Co has also relocated to a new showroom on the 11th Floor of 142 West 36th Street in the historic New York Garment District. The new space is set to serve as both the brand's design studio and showroom, where Hawke & Co will also host art exhibitions, salons, and pop-up shops. In the new space, customers will be able to experience Hawke & Co's collection in person, along with curated vintage pieces and select third-party brands, all of which are also available for sale on the brand's newly revamped website.
