SVP Worldwide partners with Dyno to enhance distribution of sewing accessories in North America

SVP Worldwide, the largest consumer sewing machine company in the world and owner of brands like Singer, Viking, and Husqvarna, has entered into a strategic partnership with Dyno LLC, producer of sewing notions and accessories, for the distribution of sewing accessories across North America.

As of July 1, 2025, Dyno has extended its long-term licensing agreement with SVP Worldwide as the exclusive US distributor of Singer-branded sewing accessories and notions. It also secured non-exclusive distribution access to Canadian and Mexican markets.

The expanded licensing agreement reflects a strategic consolidation that leverages each company’s core competencies. Dyno’s established retail network and distribution infrastructure will now support SVP Worldwide’s product development capabilities and category expertise across North American markets.

Building on the existing relationship between the two companies, the new partnership allows SVP Worldwide to concentrate on innovation and product development, while Dyno manages market distribution through its proven retail channels.

“We’re excited to extend our partnership with SVP Worldwide to bring Dyno’s accessory expertise to more consumers,” said David Gold, CEO at Dyno LLC, in a statement. “Their proven reach and market insight make them an ideal partner for this next chapter in our growth. We are exploring brand extension opportunities in a variety of areas where we believe the Singer brand will resonate and inspire consumers.”

The clear division of responsibilities via the partnership allows each company to focus on its strengths, while offering better customer service across professional and consumer sewing markets.

“The collaboration with Dyno is a natural extension of our commitment to serving sewists with the highest quality tools, accessories, and support,” said Rob Will, CEO at SVP Worldwide, in a statement. “Together, we can better meet the needs of consumers and provide retail partners with a more streamlined, innovative assortment.”
