Watches of Switzerland reiterates guidance following stable trading

UK-based retailer Watches of Switzerland Group (WOSG) has reiterated its full-year guidance for financial year 2027 following a period of consistent trading momentum in the 17 weeks to August 30, 2026.

The luxury watch and jewellery retailer reported strong demand in the US market, while the UK demonstrated further signs of recovery. Growth remained diversified across key strategic categories, including luxury jewellery, certified pre-owned, and e-commerce. The integration of retailer Deutsch & Deutsch is also progressing as planned and contributing positively to overall operations.

Expansion plans progress on schedule

The business continues to execute its physical retail development pipeline across key territories. In July, WOSG opened a multi-brand Watches of Switzerland location in Avalon, Georgia, while converting the existing Mayors location in the same center into a dedicated luxury jewellery store. In the UK market, the retailer reopened expanded and refurbished Goldsmiths locations in Chelmsford and Watford.

Upcoming expansion projects scheduled before Christmas include a new Rolex showroom in Glasgow, a Betteridge store in Greenwich, Connecticut, and multi-brand Watches of Switzerland and Mayors spaces in Marlton, New Jersey.

Outlook for financial year 2027 maintained

Management expressed confidence in delivering revenue growth alongside an expansion of adjusted EBIT margin for the full year. For financial year 2027, WOSG reaffirmed its 52-week guidance on an organic pre-IFRS 16 basis.

Revenue growth is projected to be between 5 percent and 10 percent at constant currency, adjusted EBIT margin expansion of 40 to 80 basis points compared to financial year 2026. Equivalent guidance on an IFRS 16 basis expects an adjusted EBIT margin expansion of 40 to 80 basis points over financial year 2026 levels.

The company is scheduled to release its first-half trading update on November 10, 2026, followed by its complete first-half financial results on December 10, 2026.
