Womenswear apparel retailer Windsor Fashions has announced plans to expand into Canada through the launch of five new stores throughout the second quarter of the year.

According to the company, all locations are due to have opened by the end of May, and will build on the already extensive 300 locations in the US and Puerto Rico.

The confirmed retail spaces include spots in Hamilton’s CF Lime Ridge Mall, the Oshawa Centre, Richmond Hill’s Hillcrest Mall, Newmarket’s Upper Canada Mall and Toronoto’s Dufferin Mall.

In a release, Catherine Seaton, VP marketing, expressed excitement about the openings, adding: “We look forward to providing an opportunity for our customers in the region to experience the brand in-person and have access to our unique value proposition.

“As we continue to make fashion accessible to all, we’re eager to invite women to experience the Windsor oasis that inspires and empowers through an ever evolving assortment of apparel and accessories for all of the meaningful moments in their lives.”

The Canadian move contributes to Windsor’s ongoing expansion plans for its global physical retail network, through which it houses a selection of occasion wear for weddings, school events and everyday celebrations.
