It’s a busy week for Uniqlo and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The apparel company announced a new partnership with the baseball team, which will start with three events on Thursday and Friday.

The collaboration kicks off on Thursday with the Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium Academy, marking the first of a lineup with 50 experiences annually that will allow middle school students to explore the history of the Dodgers, the impact of Jackie Robinson, environmental sustainability, and career pathways across the sports industry. The Academy will also teach students about the fashion brand’s work to promote sustainability and community engagement.

On Friday, the Uniqlo x Dodgers Baseball Exchange will welcome youth athletes from Japan and Los Angeles for an elite baseball training experience at Dodger Stadium, where they will receive instruction from Dodgers coaches and performance staff.

Later, Uniqlo and the Los Angeles Dodgers will host The Heart of LifeWear event, featuring an exclusive game-day program with Uniqlo x Dodgers clothing donation package and a Heart of LifeWear activity.

“Guided by our LifeWear philosophy, Uniqlo aims to make life better for every customer, and to make positive contributions to society. Our special and historic partnership with the Dodgers enables us to provide many new and unique opportunities for local fans and communities, and for the next generation to connect, learn and grow through the power of baseball and the power of clothing. We're delighted to bring the first of such initiatives to life this week with the support of the Dodgers and the L.A. community, as we continue working toward positive impact together,” Koji Yanai, group senior executive officer at Fast Retailing, said.
