Amy Leverton from Denim Dudes, in partnership with ISKO and Re&Up, has teamed up with writer and producer Erin Barajas to launch a new denim event in Los Angeles, Here|After.

Designed to serve as an 'impact-driven' event to unite disruptive thought leaders and Los Angeles' denim creatives, the new annual event will explore how the denim industry can leverage emerging technologies, creativity and innovation to address its key social, environmental and business issues.

Representing the cross-section of inspirational and educational events for the denim industry, Here|After will focus on offering an intimate, elevated community experience. In addition to discussions and presentations, the event will feature Denim Dudes' newest trends and market insights. It will also showcase leading innovators, brands, and disruptors, as well as designers, product developers, and sustainability leads within the denim and fashion sectors.

"As forecasters and commentators on the denim industry, we're in a unique position where we connect with members of the supply chain through to brands, designers and consumers," said Amy Leverton, founder of Denim Dudes, in a statement. "And, in the course of our work, we are able to explore how larger and emerging cultural and societal trends inform and impact the denim industry. Here|After is the natural extension of our forecasts— now we'll be able to explore these big ideas in conversation with innovators and audiences directly, connecting what's here now with what comes after."

Here| After's inaugural event will also feature several key presentations: Denim Dudes F/W 2025 forecast, an analysis of denim market drivers, and a forward-thinking panel on material science and circular systems reshaping the supply chain. The panel, moderated by Kate Nishimura of Sourcing Journal, will include speakers from Re&Up and Ambercycle.

"ISKO is deeply committed to supporting and developing new technologies and initiatives to make denim circular," said Massimo Callegari, national manager for North America at ISKO, in a statement. "The Here|After concept resonated with our own approach to connecting with our customers and is the perfect launchpad for us to present Re&Up to the LA market, a new circular tech company focused on textile-to-textile recycling at scale. Together, our goal is to divert textile waste from landfills and put it back into the supply chain to create beautiful, durable and fashionable garments once again."

The debut event of Here|After will take place at NeueHouse Hollywood on June 13, from 4 PM to 9 PM. The event is free for brands, designers, denim supply chain members, industry executives, press, students, and enthusiasts, with limited seating.
