US-based apparel brand Anne Klein is set to enter the accessories market in the US and Canada from Fall 2020, according to a statement released by its parent company, WHP Global. The products will be designed, manufactured and distributed by Amiee Lynn Inc., which has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with WHP Global.

The news comes just three months after the announcement of Anne Klein’s first denim collection, also to be launched next Fall thanks to a licensing agreement with ONE Jeanswear Group. Since acquiring Anne Klein in July 2019, WHP Global has set an ambitious growth plan in motion.

“In less than a year, we have expanded Anne Klein’s global presence in key markets including China and Mexico and added new categories including a line of women’s denim apparel. The addition of the new accessories categories will help strengthen our core women’s business and continue the momentum as we focus on growing the brand with best-in-class partners around the world,” wrote Effy Zinkin, Chief Operating Officer at WHP Global, in the statement.

Founded in 1968, Anne Klein generates over 700 million US dollars in global retail sales thanks to a series of partnerships. The brand has teamed up with Steve Madden for its shoe and handbag business, Kasper Group for sportswear, Herman Kay for outerwear, Komar for loungewear, E. Gluck for watches and Marchon for eyewear, to name but a few.

Amiee Lynn also has a long history of licensing relationships. The company designs, produces and distributes clothing and accessories for several brands, including Jessica Simpson, Juicy Couture, Hush Puppies, Bebe, Generation and Ellen Tracy. Founded in 1993, the company is headquartered in New York.
