BFC announces Fashion Awards 2026 nominees

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced the nominees for The Fashion Awards 2026, with the ceremony set to take place on November 30 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The shortlist spans established international fashion houses and emerging British talent, with four categories announced: Designer of the Year, British Womenswear Designer of the Year, British Menswear Designer of the Year and the Vanguard Award.
Designer of the Year nominees include Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, Michael Rider for Celine and Sarah Burton for Givenchy.
The British womenswear category features Clare Waight Keller for Uniqlo, Erdem Moralıoğlu, Louise Trotter for Bottega Veneta, Sarah Burton and Simone Rocha. Menswear nominees include Foday Dumbuya, Kiko Kostadinov, Nick Wakeman, Simon Holloway and Simone Rocha.
The Vanguard category, which centres designers in the new wave of British fashion, highlights Conner Ives, Ellie Misner, Steve O Smith and Tolu Coker. The nominees were selected by an 18-member jury of critics, editors and buyers before being put to a wider Voting Committee, which will determine the winners.
