American actress and model Chloe Cherry has launched a curated collection of more than 75 ready-to-wear pieces on Depop, the community-powered online marketplace for secondhand fashion.
Launching on Wednesday, October 9, the collection includes a broad range of pieces from the actress's personal wardrobe that represent her eclectic and subversive it-girl style. Best known for her breakout role on Euphoria, the collection includes statement items such pleated mini skirts, flared pants and jumpsuits from iconic brands such as Ganni, Vivienne Westwood, Boys Lie and Teddy Fresh.
Prices for the collection range from 10 dollars to 200 dollars. The collection drop on Depop, comes as the US secondhand fashion market grew seven times faster than the wider retail apparel market in the US in 2023.
Recent data from retail analytics firm GlobalData estimates the secondhand fashion market to hit 73 billion dollars by 2028. Online resale, in particular, is set to experience significant growth, more than doubling within the next five years to reach 40 billion dollars, with an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17 percent.
