Colm Dillane’s KidSuper lands at the baggage claim in new Béis collection

Béis will release a nine-piece collaboration with KidSuper, the New York–based creative label founded by artist and designer Colm Dillane. The collection, which first appeared on the runway during KidSuper’s spring/summer 2027 show in Miami this past June, arrives on September 9.

Modeled in Miami by Béis founder Shay Mitchell, the line introduces Béis’ first-ever Trunk alongside new iterations of its best-selling Hybrid Rollers and Pro Collection silhouettes. Each piece is wrapped in one of two custom KidSuper designs: Graffiti Cargo, which riffs on the scuffed, stickered look of a well-traveled shipping box, and Finale, a vibrant Dillane painting. The graphics are hand-drawn and intentionally bold, meant to be spotted instantly on a crowded baggage carousel.

For Dillane, a constant traveler, the project grew out of a simple frustration. “I travel constantly, so I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of my life thinking about bags and luggage. I don’t think it’s a category that always gets treated as a creative canvas, and there’s no reason it shouldn’t be. I want my bag to be the brightest or most unique thing at the airport so I can immediately spot it. You’re taking these things all over the world with you, so they should have some personality. I love the idea of making a piece of art that then literally travels around the world with someone," Dillane said.

The collaboration marries that artistic impulse with Béis’ focus on practical travel design. The standout piece is the trunk check-in roller ($428), a long-requested style featuring a spacious 70/30 opening, detachable kickstand straps, braking wheels, and considered interior organization. the hybrid check-in ($398) and carry-on rollers ($308) carry over béis’ patent-pending coupling system, which links multiple hybrid rollers into a single rolling unit for smoother navigation through terminals. the rest of the drop includes a carryall duffle ($188), pro travel backpack carryall duffle ($188), pro travel crossbody ($84), luggage covers ($58–68), and a luggage tag ($34).
