Elwood and the Los Angeles Rams have released a six-piece capsule collection marking the 75th anniversary of the franchise's 1951 NFL championship, its first title after relocating to Los Angeles.
The collection comprises a graphic tee, a jersey-inspired tee, a zip-up hoodie, sweatpants, a windbreaker and a workwear jacket. It draws on the Rams' archive, reworking team graphics, championship iconography and the original blue-and-gold palette through the washed, vintage-leaning treatment the label is known for.
An accompanying campaign, The Night We Won, features Rams captain and defensive back Quentin Lake alongside professional surfer King Nicol, built around gameday and post-game scenes referencing 1951-era memorabilia. Photography is by Chase Thompson.
"The Rams' 1951 championship gave us such a rich visual archive to work from," said Justin Saul, owner and creative director of Elwood Clothing. "Our approach was to pull from the imagery, colors, and character of that era and reinterpret them through an Elwood lens — pieces that feel collected and nostalgic, but still completely relevant today."
Kathryn Kai-Ling Frederick, chief marketing officer at the Rams, said the partnership was a way to reach a different audience. "We wanted to transport our fans back to 1951 and celebrate the winning legacy in a way that feels authentic to our history while introducing it to a new generation of Rams fans. Elwood's distinctive approach to vintage-inspired design and deep LA roots made them the perfect partner to help us tell that story through this collection."
The release coincides with a wider anniversary programme. The Rams have unveiled two alternate uniforms, one of them named Classic Sol and also tied to the 1951 anniversary, due to debut on 21 September against the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium.
