Florence Welch, lead singer of Florence + the Machines, is trying her hand in sleepwear design, with the help of Liberty London. The frontliner has teamed up with the iconic British department store to develop a limited edition pyjama capsule collection, set to launch June 20.

Featuring six different paisley prints from the archives of Liberty, the nine-piece collection will include a range of sleepwear styles, including robes, separates, pajamas and accessories.

"I do a lot of writing in the morning, still in my pyjamas with lots of very strong coffee, and as a Liberty print obsessive, I was honoured that Liberty allowed me to trawl through their archives to create this collection,” Welch said in a statement.

"Florence embodies the Liberty London woman," added Amelia Hornblow, director of product at Liberty. "She has an eclectic style, mixing colors and prints. We also love her sense of travel and adventure, which mirrors that of Arthur Liberty, the original founder."

Along with the singer’s newest design collaboration, Welch is also publishing a book of drawings, poetry and lyrics, titled “Useless Magic,” on July 5. Additionally, Florence + the Machines’ new album “High As Hope,” will be released on June 29.

This is not Welch’s first collaboration, having worked with brands like Topshop and Gucci in the past. The singer is joining the likes of other artists who have collaborated in fashion design recently, including Miley Cyrus who debuted an LGBT Converse sneaker collection this month and Rihanna who has released a line of inclusive lingerie.
