Levi’s Made & Crafted has teamed with United Arrows & Sons creative director Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi to unveil a new capsule inspired by vintage American workwear.
The line, a fusion of urban flair and high fashion, offers a neon yellow coat, turquoise denim shirt and the X Poggy Mcqueen Pant. The collection offers a hint of vintage influence in Japan and World War II era Levi’s archives from San Francisco.
”I grew up with street culture, and in the 1990s there were many great fashion magazines in Japan that I learned from,” Poggy said in a press release from the brand. “So, I’m trying to mix workwear and traditional details with a street attitude, as well as a vintage look.”
Poggy also drew from the style preferences of screen icons Steve McQueen and James Dean.
Prices range from 48 dollars to 398 dollars and will hit Levi’s stores and website beginning July 26th.Photos courtesy of the brand.
