Department store retailer Nordstrom has launched an in-house brand titled Open Edit featuring apparel for women, men, and kids.

The collection consists of apparel, shoes, jewelry, and accessories emphasizing size-inclusive ranges from xxs-3x.

Pieces in the collection were produced using organic cotton or recycled material such as polyester, or cellulosic fabrics, stated the company.

“Our Nordstrom Made brands include exclusive apparel, accessories, shoes, and home goods across more than 40 brands, including customer favorites like Halogen, Zella, BP., Treasure & Bond, and now Open Edit,” stated the company in a press release.

“We also see our own brands as an opportunity to directly influence change in working conditions and environmental sustainability. We know that customers want to feel good about the products they’re buying.”

Open Edit falls align with the company’s broader sustainability initiative, including sourcing raw materials, disclosing traceability of products from factories while producing 90 percent of products in factors that invest in women’s empowerment.
