T-shirts are an easy fashion go-to when we are looking for something casual to wear. For those of us a bit more invested in our fashion choices, we're not looking at a plain white or black t-shirt for functionality. We want something that helps us stand out, like a nice graphic print, or a more bold color.

Vestige is here to help those men who want those more quality, novel offerings fulfill their needs.

Three years ago, the brand's co-founder Mark DiMuzio came up with the idea for the brand. DiMuzio was working fashion as a brand representative for a multi-line showroom, and since he was a teenager, he had dreams of doing his own line. He had none of the formal training that most people with the intention of doing fashion lines have however. He didn't go toe fashion school and didn't have a merchandising degree, but what he does have is an eye for business.

He wanted to do cool graphic t-shirts, but most of the market for that is saturated with low priced, licensed t-shirts. DiMuzio didn't particularly care for that stuff, so, he along with his business partner Kyle Derleth, who was working as a graphic designer, came together to launch Vestige a year-and-a-half ago.

The brand officially launched at the end of the fall 2015 with a total of 13 doors picking them up to be sold. The big break for the brand came when they were picked up by Nordstrom. The department store chain tested them out online first before they moved them into their brick-and-mortar stores. Eventually, the brand was sold in every Nordstrom door in the country. Vestige has been able to pick up more wholesale accounts as well through attending trade shows like Project New York and Las Vegas.

The partnership with Nordstrom got them noticed by other top department stores like Bloomingdale's and Lord & Taylor too.

Bloomingdale's has begun rolling them out to more doors recently.

For Lord & Taylor, the brand also does a private label collection simply called "Vestige and Lord & Taylor."

In addition to their department store accounts, Vestige has also collaborated with brands like Parke & Ronen and fitness conglomerate Equinox.

Currently, the brand does all of their manufacturing in the United States. Everything is made in downtown Los Angeles, except for the bags which are made in New York City.

"I'd describe our brand as a mix between Scotch & Soda and All Saints," says DiMuzio.

Price points for the line range from 42 dollars for t-shirts to 98 dollars for pullovers.

As for where they see the line going forward, DiMuzio wants to continue to find inspiration in modern art, and create unique products for customers they can't get anywhere else. A lot of their inspiration is actually taken from art they see on Pinterest.

In addition to their multiple department store and wholesale partners, Vestige is also available online at vestigebrand.com.
