White Mountain to expand into men's and boy's footwear categories

Footwear brand White Mountain is expanding its offering into men’s and boy's footwear. The announcement comes after the brand’s acquisition by American Exchange Group in January 2023, a strategic move that saw White Mountain expand into various product categories and shift its focus from women’s footwear.

The introduction of men’s and boy’s footwear collections builds on the launch of White Mountain’s footwear range for girls in June 2023 and sees the brand cater to a wider audience. The men's collection will feature adaptable styles such as sneakers and dress shoes designed for contemporary, dynamic lifestyles, affordably priced between 60 and 100 USD. The boys' collection offers a range of casual to dressy options, such as loafers, drivers, boots, sneakers, and sandals. Available in youth sizes 13 to 4, these styles will be priced between 25 and 60 USD.

"Over the last forty years, White Mountain has consistently provided cost-effective, on-trend, quality footwear,” said Alen Mamrout, CEO of American Exchange Group, in a statement. “This unwavering commitment, coupled with significant growth prospects, drove our decision to acquire the brand in January 2023. Our venture into men's and boy's footwear marks a significant milestone for White Mountain reaching a broader consumer and building new retail partnerships."

The first men’s and boy’s collections are set to launch in Spring 2025 and will be available on the brand's website and select specialty stores.
