Artizia is set to open a new flagship store in SoHo, New York City. The move will see the Canadian luxury womenswear brand expand its retail footprint in the city, taking over the location of the Dean & Deluca store.
Located on the corner of Broadway and Prince, the new store will open its doors to the public on Tuesday, November 26, just in time for the holiday season.
The new flagship store will span three floors and is notably larger than Aritizia's debut flagship store in Manhattan, which opened its doors in 2011. The opening follows in the footsteps of other store openings throughout the year, underlining the brand’s wider aim to grow its presence in the state of New York and across the USA.
“Opening our first Aritzia SoHo flagship boutique over a decade ago marked a defining moment in our brand journey, establishing Aritzia’s presence in the US market,” said Jennifer Wong, CEO of Aritzia, in a statement. “Today, with our repositioned and expanded SoHo flagship boutique, this moment comes full circle — celebrating our heritage in retail and setting new standards for retail excellence. We are thrilled to reach this milestone as we continue our growth across North America and beyond.”
The new SoHo flagship store will feature bespoke details inspired by the neighborhood and its roots, such as distinctive Cast Iron architecture, expansive marble surfaces, large archways, and sleek steel and glass partitions. Fully conceptualized and designed by Aritzia’s in-house team, the new flagship features a soft palette of neutral grays, whites, and industrial blacks with bronze glass accents.
The flagship store will also offer Aritzia’s signature amenities, such as carefully curated artwork, a lounge area to relax, and an A-OK Cafe with expanded food and beverage offerings. Style advisors will be available to offer personalized styling and tailored advice to all customers.
To mark the grand opening of its SoHo flagship store, Aritzia is offering shoppers an exclusive gift with qualifying purchases, available while supplies last. Throughout the weekend, the brand will also host a scavenger hunt for mini Aritzia shopping bags hidden around SoHo, where participants can win Aritzia Gift Cards.
