BAPE enters Canada with first store

A Bathing Ape (BAPE) has opened its inaugural store in Canada, marking the brand’s first entry into the region. To celebrate, BAPE is offering a curation of exclusive items designed specifically for the store opening.

Located at 1028 Alberni Street in Vancouver, the new location builds on broader North American expansion efforts by the Japanese streetwear brand. BAPE already operates sites across the US, including in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Chicago.

Its official launch into the region was confirmed by head of North America, Moss Bemis, who said in a post on LinkedIn: "Opening on Alberni Street is a key milestone in our North American retail expansion, reflecting our focus on culturally influential markets and strong retail execution.

“Huge congratulations to the team on a successful opening weekend–great momentum as we continue to create spaces for fearless self-expression around the world.”
