God's True Cashmere opens first freestanding store worldwide in Korea

South Korean luxury retail company Shinsegae International has announced the opening of the first global freestanding brick and mortar store for US luxury label God's True Cashmere. Located on Cheongdam Luxury Street in the Gangnam district of Seoul, the space opened on November 2, 2026, following an initial pop-up presentation at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam. The retail location will operate until March 12, 2027.

Co-founded in 2019 by holistic healer Sat Hari Khalsa and actor Brad Pitt, God's True Cashmere produces apparel using Italian-crafted, 100 percent heirloom cashmere. The Cheongdam location operates under the design concept ‘Journey of Wearable Art’, incorporating arched wooden architecture, natural materials and cashmere patchwork art installations. Alongside the apparel offer, the space showcases artworks made from cashmere as well as exclusive global releases.

The showroom floor highlights the autumn/winter 2026 (AW26) collection alongside the brand's God's True Linen range. Key items include 30 iterations of the signature cashmere shirt in solid colours and tartan plaids, detailed with 11 hand-cut gemstone buttons sourced from India. Seven of these buttons are positioned to correspond with bodily chakra points, using stones such as rose quartz, emerald, amethyst and labradorite.

The assortment also spans knitwear, capes, blazers, cardigans, trousers, coats and T-shirts; accessories including hats, beanies, scarves, blankets and bandanas complete the line-up. Solid cashmere shirts are priced at 3.65 million won, while tartan plaid versions retail at 4.05 million won.
