New York-based fashion brand Guizio has opened its first West Coast store, a 3,200-square-foot flagship at 8723 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The store, which opened Friday, marks the brand's largest retail space to date.

"We’re so excited to open our Los Angeles flagship and finally have a home for the Guizio community on the West Coast. LA has always been such a huge source of inspiration for me creatively, so opening a store here feels incredibly special," Danielle Guizio, founder and designer of the brand, told FashionUnited in a statement.

The designer said she wanted to create a space "that feels warm, immersive, and inviting."

"Somewhere people can not only shop, but really step into the world of Guizio and experience the brand the way we’ve always envisioned it. It’s a huge milestone for us, and we’re so excited for this next chapter in Los Angeles," she added.

The Los Angeles opening follows the brand's SoHo flagship in New York and its location at Aventura Mall in Florida. Guizio described the West Coast store as part of its ongoing retail expansion and continued investment in what it considers one of its most important markets. Founded in 2014, the womenswear label has grown into a globally recognized brand with an expanding retail footprint.
