Canadian apparel retailer Jean Machine Clothing Inc. will be closing down all of its 24 stores by February 28, 2019, informed the company’s president, Lisa Hryciuk, in a letter posted across the brand’s social media channels.
“Having been in business now for over 42 years, this decision was not taken lightly. It has been our pleasure and privilege to serve you over these years and we still hope to see you over the next few months”, wrote Hryciuk.
Owned by Comark Services Inc, a subsidiary of Stern Partners Inc, which also owns fashion brands Bootlegger, Ricki’s and Cleo, Jean Machine filed for bankruptcy protection in January.
