Jewelry brand Mejuri to open L.A. store with ear piercing studio

Canadian direct-to-consumer jewelry label Mejuri is expanding to the West Coast. In an announcement from the brand, which already has locations in Toronto and New York, Mejuri will be opening its doors in Los Angeles on August 10 at 8404 Melrose Avenue.

The jewelry brand is responding to its customers’ request by opening its first showroom on the West Coast and providing anyone in the area — as well as those visiting — a chance to look and feel all of its jewelry products in person. In addition to providing a physical space for its Californian customers to visit, this showroom will also feature the brand’s first-ever permanent ear piercing studio.

Reflecting the aesthetic of the brand’s digital content — both on its website and on its Instagram — the showroom is designed to be a place for its customers to freely style, stack and try on pieces, forgoing the glass barrier typically seen in traditional fine jewelry stores.
