Californian-based accessories brand Pura Vida is set to host its first-ever pop-up in New York City right in time for the holiday season.
Located at 640 5th Avenue, in the heart of New York, the event marks a significant milestone for the brand, as it brings its signature laid-back, vibrant, and playful charm to the locals of NYC.
Set to run for two days, from December 14 to December 15, the NYC pop-up store will also feature exclusive and one-of-a-kind designs, ideal for holiday gifting. Pop-up store visitors will be able to make their own personalized charm bracelets, or shop a curated collection of the brand's collection.
In addition, the first 100 customers will be gifted a complimentary original bracelet, one of Pura Vida’s best-selling designs. "Pura Vida's always dreamed of bringing something special to NYC, and the holiday season, especially near Rockefeller Center, felt like the perfect moment," said a spokesperson from Pura Vida to FashionUnited. "The festive charm of the Christmas pop-up markets inspired our little charm cart, bringing that same magical, cozy vibe to life."
Pura Vida was founded by friends Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman in 2010. The pair traveled to Costa Rica together on vacation and were inspired after meeting a pair of bracelet makers named Joaquin and Jorge. Starting with just 400 artisan bracelets brought back to California, the brand quickly grew from selling a few pieces each week to becoming a global sensation, now selling millions of bracelets, necklaces, charms, and more every year.
