Harlem Fashion Row (HFR) is set to stage the 6th edition of its annual Black History Month Summit.

Set to run February 15 from 1 pm to 5 pm EST, the event known as HFR- Live – The Iconic Era celebrates and honors the contributions of notable black designers, pioneers, creative directors, editors, and influencers within the fashion industry.

Bringing together retail brands, industry professionals, and fashion influencers at the New York Venue, leaders and icons come together to discuss and showcase opportunities in the industry. Several confirmed panelists include Alexis Bennett, Vogue Shopping Editor, Fashion Designer Andrea Iyamah, and Asia Milla Ware from The Cut, who will discuss 'How to Build a Successful Black-owned D to C Brand,' 'What's Working for HBCU Fashion Departments,' and more.

"We are honored to host an event again highlighting the impact of Black creativity in fashion," said Brandice Daniels, CEO of Harlem Fashion Row, in a statement. "I am proud of the progress we've made over the years, the guests who have graciously consented to share their wisdom and expertise, and the opportunities for our aspiring designers."

In addition, Gap Inc., one of the event's sponsors, will host a conversation with New York style icon and designer Dapper Dan, discussing their latest collaboration. Other sponsors announced include Hugo Boss. Created to inspire the Black and Latinx communities and inform them of all the opportunities available in fashion, this year's event is set to take place in Harlem, New York, for the first time since the pandemic.
