Childrenswear brand Janie and Jack has launched a very sweet limited-edition collection with iconic New York City-based sweet shop, Milk Bar.
The new 25-piece collection includes several styles for girls and boys, with hand-drawn prints and fun patterns. It is also inspired by signature treats created in partnership with the founder of Milk Bar, award-winning pastry chef and mom Christina Tosi.
"Milk Bar has always been about more than dessert: it's about creating moments of joy," said Christina Tosi, founder of Milk Bar, in a statement. "Our new collection with Janie and Jack does just that, giving kids some sweet new ways of expressing themselves through Milk Bar's creative and whimsical spirit."
Available in sizes up to 12, the collection also includes a matching apron for adults. "We believe childhood should be sweet—and this Milk Bar collection brings that to life in the most joyful way," said Parnell Eagle, President of Janie and Jack. "Collaborating with Christina, a mom and a creative force, made this feel personal, playful and full of heart."
The campaign for the collection, featuring Christina Tosi, was shot at Milk Bar's flagship bakery in NYC and includes behind-the-scenes moments from an exclusive Milk Bar x Janie and Jack event.
Prices for the Janie and Jack x Milk Bar collection range from 18.50 dollars to 79 dollars, and the collection is now available online at janieandjack.com and will launch in stores nationwide on June 16.
Following the launch of the collection, Janie and Jack joined Milk Bar in supporting Cookies for Kids' Cancer, a nonprofit funding pediatric cancer research. Customers can opt-in to donate at checkout in any Janie and Jack store, and Janie and Jack will be matching donations up to 10,000 dollars.
