Mexican-based bridal atelier Nadia Manjarrez has opened a new studio and showroom in New York City.

Located within the city’s flower district, the studio hosted an opening event on October 13, coinciding with the NY Bridal Market, and is set to host another special shopping event for brides-to-be on October 18.

“After two successful years of testing the waters in NYC with my first showroom, I am thrilled to officially launch our Bespoke Studio and truly focus on bringing personalized dreams to life for our brides,” said Nadia Manjarrez, founder and CEO of the eponymous bridal label. “This expansion represents a significant milestone for our brand, allowing us to cultivate an even more intimate and tailored luxury experience.”

The new studio and showroom offer custom gown consultations, as well as Nadia Manjarrez’s new collections and bestselling pieces. Born and raised in Culiacán, Mexico, Manjarrez learnt how to sew at the young age of six. Working for several leading occasionwear brands in New York, including Badgley Mischka, Marchesa, and Cushnie et Ochs, she moved back to Mexico in 2020.

From her parents’ basement, she unofficially started her bridal atelier, before switching to making medical masks during the global pandemic. Turning her attention back to bridalwear in 2022, she began designing modular, customizable, and versatile wedding gowns that became the basis of her collections.

The bespoke gown experience at the studio and showroom in NYC starts with a private consultation with Manjarrez, who will be available in-studio or virtually. She creates a custom sketch based on the bride’s vision, selecting premium fabrics, laces, and details that tell a unique story. Brides collaborate throughout the entire process while skilled female artisans handcraft each gown at the Mexico atelier. Bespoke gowns pricing begins at 15,000 USD and requires 6-8 months to complete.

The new studio and showroom bring this personalized experience to New York in a private, luxurious setting, previously exclusive to the label’s atelier in Mexico. To celebrate the opening of the NYC studio and showroom, Nadia Manjarrez will be holding an exclusive shopping event on October 18 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
