Paraiso, an organiser behind the annual Miami Swim Week, is set to introduce a new concept for up-and-coming brands and designers at its upcoming 22nd edition. The event returns this season to the newly renovated Delano Miami Beach, with its tent stretching across Collins Park.
Set to run from May 28 to May 31, the multi-day event will feature a separate platform for emerging designers under the name Rise at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel. The hotel was selected as the main location for the new addition as organizers felt that the art-deco style of the hotel and its contemporary energy provide “a uniquely immersive Swim Week environment.”
The new concept includes a dedicated runway show, taking place by the hotel’s historic swimming pool, which will showcase a line-up of emerging swimwear brands, including Lascana, Salty Mermaid, Belle D’Amour, Sigal, Vampire Surf Club, Dianna Yacht Club, Huneys, Aura Maris, Atelier Palacios, Nohre, AvidLove, and Planet Fashion.
The announcement comes as Paraiso Miami Swim Week announces its line-up for its upcoming event, with designers showing their spring/resort and cruise 2027 collections on schedule, including Monday, Fae, Oséree, Melissa Odabash, Shan, Kulani Kinis, LainSnow, Oceanus, Luli Fama, and Oh Polly. In addition to its runway programme and private events, Paraiso Miami Swim Week will host the second annual edition of its Swimwear Icons Hall of Fame Honors Night (SIHOF).
Following the success of the inaugural event last year, SIHOF returns to honor and celebrate visionaries within the swimwear industry, with this year’s event set to be co-chaired by Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman, co-founders of Monday Swimwear.
"Paraiso keeps growing beyond just the runway, it’s becoming more of a lifestyle space where fashion, design, culture, and experiences all come together," said Natalija Dedic Stojanovic, co-founder of Paraiso Miami Swim Week, to FashionUnited. "It’s become part of a bigger cultural conversation, and brands want to be part of that moment. Partnerships like Mini are a perfect example how that comes that to life, especially through collaborations with brands like Kulani Kinis, Oséree, and Oceanus. The custom Mini wraps inspired by each designer make the experience feel creative, fun, and immersive both on and off the runway."
