Pharrell Williams launches G-Star Raw's Suit collection

London - Artist, producer and Head of Imagination at G-Star Raw, Pharrell Williams, has launched the brand's newest capsule collection: the Suit collection.

A creative twist on formal business dress-codes, the new collection sees Williams and his team take famed Savile Row suit prints, such as the pin-strip and check, and apply them to the iconic racer suit. Named 'uniform of the free', the idea behind the collection brings two totally different garments together to create a new suit, which aims to empower its wearer.

"Like all that we do at G-Star Raw, this collection is based on our dedication to bringing a new, unique twist to everyday life," says Pharrell Williams. "I love the unexpected combination of traditional workwear items and business suits, and especially what this combination represents: a fashion democracy."

The G-Star Raw Suit collection features five different takes on classic stripes and checks and is available in short or long pant legs. Officially debuted at ComplexCon, a music and fashion festival in California last weekend, the collection was revealed in a specially designed booth which reflected a stylish office space under the name 'G-Star Raw Office.'

The G-Star Raw collection is set to launch online and selected G-Star stores around the globe from April 2018.
