Cider launches immersive experience in Beverly Hills for Polly Pocket capsule collection Credits: Cider

Hong Kong-based fashion brand Cider is set to bring its latest Polly Pocket capsule collection to life by hosting a three-day takeover at Cafe Alfred Coffee in Beverly Hills.

Set to take place from June 20 to June 22, the immersive experience is part of Cider’s ongoing experiential retail strategy to meet its customers, Gen Z, where they are in life. An integral part of brand-building for Cider, its new activation will transform Alfred Coffee into a physical extension of its Polly Pocket collection. 

Strategically located across from the iconic Beverly Hills sign, the pop-up at Alfred Coffee will include several interactive, world-building elements such as an inflatable Polly compact on the patio, Pollyville-inspired signage on the Alfred rooftop, and campaign visuals throughout the cafe.

Customers are invited to browse the Cider x Polly Pocket capsule collection in person through styled mannequins and digital displays. Although the collection will not be shoppable on-site, customers can shop the collection online by scanning the QR codes on drink sleeves and in-store signage.

To further enhance the experience, Cider will also be handing out complimentary mini croissants and lattes alongside scratch-to-win cards, offering customers the chance to win exclusive prizes like shoe charms, bag charms, and even a Golden Ticket worth 500 dollars in Cider credit.

The pop-up takeover at Alfred Coffee is another example of how Cider continued to intertwine online commerce and the physical world by inviting its customers to step into a world they’ve only seen online through experiences designed to be shared.
