Independent denim brand Still Here has opened its second store in New York City.
Following the opening of the brand's first store at 268 Elizabeth Street, in the Nolita neighborhood, downtown Manhattan last spring, Still Here opened the doors of its new flagship store.
Situated on the Upper East Side, at 905 Madison Avenue right off East 73rd Street, the new store is nearly four times the size of its original store. "We are excited to bring our classic denim, everyday dressing pieces, and our beloved high-touch personal shopping experience to Madison Avenue," said the brand in a statement on the opening.
Designed and furnished by creative director Sonia Mosseri, who founded the brand with her husband in 2008, the new store features a luxurious yet simple, warm and inviting living room concept. Next to providing a more spacious product display for the brand's full assortment, the new flagship store features a comfortable seating area at the back where customers can enjoy a cup of sustainably sourced coffee.
The main goal of the store expansion is to foster a community vibe uptown, where customers feel at ease spending time in the store, according to a report from WWD.
Inspired by the enduring nature of denim, Still Here adheres to the classic principles of fit, wash, and wear connected to denim. Focusing on novelty, quality, and sustainability, the brand's designs are conceived in New York City and meticulously hand-finished in Los Angeles.
