Online influencer secondhand store Detoure is set to open its first permanent brick-and-mortar store in Los Angeles, California, this weekend.

Located at 7555 Melrose Avenue, one of the city’s most iconic shopping streets, the debut store is set to open its doors on April 20. In honor of the opening, Detoure will be hosting a grand opening weekend, with coffee and other items to mark the occasion.

The permanent store opening comes after Detoure hosted more than 50 successful pop-ups across the United States, with each event attracting between 200 to 300 attendees. Working with a roster of more than 200 influencers, everything offered on Detoure is 40 to 70 percent off the retail price.

Founded in 2021 by Meghan Russell, Detoure is a resale marketplace that sources second-hand clothing directly from influencers' closets and excess inventory from leading fashion brands such as Cider, Blackbough Swim, Beginning Boutique, and Edikted.

In total, Detoure has managed to divert over 28,300 pieces of clothing from going to landfills through resale and donated 10,000 plus pieces to non-profit organizations, including the LA Women’s Shelter.
